Why should there be a gap of 10 minutes before and after medication? Print E-mail
Monday, 03 July 2006

Homoeopathic medicines get absorbed from the inner lining of the mouth. Any substance eaten or drunk leaves a coating in the mouth and an odor. These will hinder the absorption of the medicines or even react with medicine and nullify the effect of the medicine. Therefore it is advisable not to drink, eat or smoke 10 minutes before and after the medication.
